When God gives you an instruction, that is all you need. It's a done deal. You can now move forward with all the confidence in the world, knowing that the Creator of heaven has got your back and all things in the heavens and in the spiritual realm have been realigned to see to it that what you set out to do will be successful.
It doesn't mean that opposition won't come your way. It doesn't mean that the devil won't try all he can to stop you. It means that as long as you stand on God's Word, as long as you stand in faith and believe you will succeed, then you will succeed if God gave you the go-ahead.
However, if you do not believe you will succeed, or you lose faith and begin to doubt because of the storm—like Peter did when walking on water—you would sink, even though Jesus gave you the instruction, the authority, and the ability to go ahead (Matthew 14:22-33).
In the Kingdom of God, faith is a big deal. It is extremely important. Your lack of faith can stop God from blessing you even if He wants to.
God operates by principles. God will not break His principles just because of you. God will not break His principles for you or for anybody.
It is a principle that when you are doing anything that has to do with God, you must have faith. For without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
So always believe. Always have faith too. There is no divine advancement without faith.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:1-3 KJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [2] For by it the elders obtained a good report. [3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Romans 10:17 KJV
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
