About Alan Young

I am a wildlife and nature photographer based in the UK, with a long-standing interest in observing and documenting the natural world. Much of my work is created slowly and deliberately, often returning to the same places and subjects over time.

Alongside photography I share guides, field notes, and resources for other photographers through this website.

If you have enjoyed the images, writing, or found the guides useful, you are welcome to support the work here. Contributions help cover the costs of maintaining the website, producing guides, and continuing long-term wildlife projects.

There is absolutely no obligation. Your visit alone is appreciated.

If the Z8 Bird Photography Guide helped you, thank you for considering a small contribution.
