Please react to the YouTube video "Romain Axisa - Time After Time (Live at St Augustine's Chapel)" the link: https://youtu.be/sEzhMkLvOkw?si=CiR1YAo2yDpUPXYc
Romain was a band mate of Ren, he play guitar in the busking band 'The Big Push'. There is a longish guitar solo in the song.
The lyrics to the song are pinned in comments. And Romain left some information in the video description.
I think I'm getting strong John Lennon vibes from this song.
Hi Thomas , first of all , welcome , I donât promote membership or anything for â but me a coffeeâ so Iâm always excited and grateful ( not for the finance ) but for the opportunity to have more detailed discussions and link to music lovers who appreciate my time on the channel đ if you go to the channel page you will see several big push reactions, separate from REN , but this is going to be my first dive into Romain on his own , and thanks to you it will be made to day and scheduled for Sunday ( providing not blocked ) I know the song but never heard this version so Iâm happy to share what I think.. please accept my thanks đđ»

Hi Alan,
@keithf_ here
Just thought I would offer you a detour on your musical journey. It will take you to northwest USA via Harrogate, Yorkshire ...
Way back in the early 1970s, when my teenage musical discoveries all things prog were blossoming, there was a band called Wally. They hailed from Harrogate, Yorkshire. They came and went quickly, making just two albums. But one song - from their second album and released as a single - gained some radio airplay. I remember hearing it 50 years ago. Sadly it wasn't a hit single (should have been). Never forgot it, although I never bought their albums.
Fast forward to late 2024. For some reason, I was reminded of that forgotten band Wally. I sought out their albums, bought them, and ... I'm a fan.
The song I'm referring to, and I'd love you to react to it some day, is called 'Nez Perce'. A simple but beautiful song, basically a native american lament. Hence your journey takes you from Harrogate to the USA.
I love the song 'Nez Perce' and I think both the song and the band Wally deserve some 21st century recognition.
Hope you agree.
Thanks
Keith
Kieth , the whole reason I started YouTube was to connect the dots my life to music and see if others wanted to share and remind themselves and others of music in their life story .. you are guaranteed that i will find â Nez Perceâ sit down do some research on the band , share that and my reaction and a shoutout to the band .. it will be a pleasure .. and it will be next Sunday itâs up . Why Sunday well when you see it yig wilm know đđđ

Alan, Wally's albums and some video footage of the band are freely available on youtube, so you won't have a problem finding them. Thanks mate

Alan! Thank you for the birthday shoutout for my mom. You are so lovely for doing so, a man of your word. She was tickled pink!
I hope your channel continues to thrive; I have enjoyed more of your videos since first reaching out to you. The Ren videos are brilliant. Thank you so very much again! All the best to you.
Hi Alison , it was hit and miss , the video was copyrighted and blocked ! First SRV video Iâve had that done too , so I appealed which is super risky .. but I won đ which means your mom was definitely destined to see it .. I do enjoy the REN videos , I could pick the top viewed artists and just go for it , but there would be way less fun and interaction with genuine music lovers , like your mom đ it was good for me to shout out your mom , because sheâs been nudging me to different artists for a time .. long may it last .. Iâm off for coffee now and work .. Thank you Alison I really do appreciate you both đ

Alan I just joined your channel and can tell from this reaction you really understand Jazz. I agree you should go to AJâs early early years butâ listen to her latest original release with Toby Gad his âpiano diaries âalbum volume 2 âbad Valentine â which charted at # 1 on iTunes jazz in Norway and #9 iin USA October 5 first and you will be hooked! Guaranteed! Thanks đ https://youtu.be/6Ln9Tajsuzk?feature=shared
Dave , hi , so Iâm trying to put together what my strategy will be with AJ , normally , for example with Diana Ankudinova, I started with early recordings but then Iâd go to later then early etc , Iâm doing the same with Aurora at the minute , but with AJ the consensus seems to be go chronological, Iâm not sure , but I have a plan .. I could literally premier live stream later works and record it to publish for those who miss it , and with the earlier , stay focused no live stream .. Iâm saying live stream like I know what Iâm doing đ .. but hereâs the thing, anyone who buys me a coffee , and I never ask or promote , they 100% ( and rightly so ) get what they ask me for .. but Iâd love your thoughts ? And yes I love Jazz , but it feels like it might not go well on the channel , even though selfishly the channel was initially just really a way I could talk about songs I like , itâs now becoming more ! If that makes sense ?
