I don't think of myself as a poet, but I seem to have become one. Despite a degree in French and Italian literature from Oxford University, I always found poetry unfathomable and alienating.

That changed when I got Long Covid. Writing and sharing poems helped me navigate that difficult time. I've discovered that readers appreciate connecting through poetry, too.

Now that I'm recovered, I want to keep up my poetry practice, and every little bit of support is a massive boost that enables me to keep going.
