Exploring Hong Kong Public Housing (Chinese Name : 遊走香港屋邨誌) is a long-term documentation project examining public housing estates in Hong Kong as lived urban space.
Founded in 2022, the project combines walking, writing, photography, and archival research to record the everyday environments, shared facilities, and spatial characteristics of public housing estates. Between 2022 and 2025, all 261 existing estates were visited on foot.
Rather than offering evaluation or policy analysis, the project focuses on observation, memory, and the cultural and architectural significance of public housing within Hong Kong’s urban fabric.
