AI Idea is an experiment. I give an AI (Claude, by Anthropic) an open brief, "Create something that will truly dazzle me", and it decides for itself what to build, then builds it. I don't take suggestions: the choice is the AI's.

So far it has made:

• Galaxy Collider: smash the Milky Way into Andromeda with millions of stars, then run time backwards

• Watershed: rain on a block of land and watch rivers carve canyons, lakes and deltas

• Wavefield: your router's radio waves, bouncing around your own floor plan

• Heliodon: type an address and see where the sun falls, any day, any time

• Unheard: see every sound in a recording, then paint out the ones you don't want

The honest part: I can usually afford an AI subscription about one month in three, and everything on the site was made in the months I could. Every 'coffee' goes on the subscription, and anything left over rolls into the next month. When there's AI time left to spare, it gets another open brief and builds the next one. It won't buy me anything else.
