Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a third-generation pilot, ag aviator, and cranberry farmer. My husband, Austin, and I run a small aerial application business, fruit packing business, and a small cranberry farm where we’ve combined our passion for aviation and agriculture into the work we love.
When I got into ag aviation, there weren’t many female mentors, and I had to learn a lot the hard way. That’s why I now share my journey by offering support, creating content, and helping others find their way into this unique and rewarding field. I also aim to spread awareness of our industries and “agvocate” for agriculture in the United States.
Lately, I’ve been learning to slow down and enjoy the season I’m in. Life moves fast when you’re balancing flying, farming, and building a business, but I’m realizing how important it is to find peace in the present and celebrate the little wins along the way. This journey isn’t just about progress, it’s about finding joy in it too.
Your support helps in so many ways:
• Improving safety for our aircraft and pilots through better equipment and training
• Creating free and helpful content for aspiring ag pilots
• Paying down high-interest debt
• Giving back to our community
• And one day, hopefully buying my own little tailwheel fun plane
Whether you’re here to follow the journey or just want to say thanks, every bit of support keeps us moving forward. I’m so grateful you’re here.
Thank you,
Emily (@AgPilotChick)
