I’m trying to raise some money—not everyone's favorite topic, I know—but it’s to help me relocate to Ruskin. Why, you ask? Well, I need to make sure I can get to work on my first day without any hitches.
Relocating means I’ll need an Uber or Lyft to get me to work initially. I have no idea what the exact cost might be, but you can look it up if you're curious. On top of that, I need at least two nights in a hotel—nothing fancy, just somewhere with breakfast and within walking distance of the Amazon Procurement Center in Ruskin, Florida. I figure starting the job without the stress of being late would be ideal, don’t you think?
I’ve got some folks checking out Airbnb options, and I’ll be on the lookout for private landlords and other property referrals. I'm exploring all avenues but having those hotel nights as a fallback would give me some peace of mind. Knowing that my bases are covered, even just for the first couple of days, would be a huge relief and allow me to focus on nailing my new gig right from the start.
