Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a quick update on my situation and job search progress.
Current Status
Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters, I've received enough to cover another day at the motel. Any additional support now will go toward covering Sunday, laundry, and getting some basic necessities like underwear, socks, and deodorant.
Job Search Progress
I'm actively pursuing several opportunities:
Waiting to hear back from:
USAA (second interview)
Spectrum (interviewed this past Wednesday)
New opportunities:
Raymond James Stadium - Potential vendor or ticket sales position that I could start ASAP and work weekends/nights
Columbia Restaurant in Ybor - Planning to visit Monday (2-4 PM) to inquire about dishwashing or busing positions that might offer daily pay
Moving Forward
I'm staying positive and keeping all options open. Some days are definitely challenging, but I know I have to keep pushing forward. Having people who believe in me and are willing to help makes all the difference.
Your support - whether it's financial, sharing my story, or just sending encouragement - means absolutely everything to me. I'm committed to getting back on my feet and will continue working hard to make that happen.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
Adontai M.
