After months of planning, paperwork, and patience, everything has finally come together. St. Vincent de Paul and the Tampa Home Talk team have both given the final approval. All the pieces are in place, and Friday is the day.
Here's how it's all going down: My caseworker is picking me up for work in the morning, which gives me the chance to load up everything I need for the move. Then during my break, we're heading to the property together—that's when I'll sign the lease, do the walkthrough, and get those keys in my hand.
After that, it's back to finish my shift. But when I clock out Friday evening, everything changes. I won't just be heading home—I'll be heading to my home.
By this weekend, I'll be fully moved in and starting this next chapter. It feels surreal to be here after everything it took to get to this point. Thank you all for being part of this journey with me. Your support has meant more than I can put into words.
