Help Me Get Through This Holiday Weekend
Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful Independence Day with family and friends.
I'm reaching out with a grateful heart - first to say THANK YOU to the amazing friends who helped me with my motel room for the past two days. I'm safe inside right now while this intense storm passes through (that lightning is seriously scary!).
Why I'm asking for help: I could really use support getting through this holiday weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Weekends are especially challenging because most services are closed, and the one shelter available (Salvation Army) is incredibly difficult to get into without camping outside for weeks.
What I'm doing: I'm not just sitting around - I'm actively applying for jobs and pursuing temp/project-based work online. Just found a legitimate opportunity doing online content verification for $14/hour. Every step forward counts!
