Top 207+ Words to drill for Great Syllable Stress

😖 Getting Syllable Stress right in English is complex! 🤩 Maximize your time with THIS list! 😥 Sure, you could go hunting all over the internet for lists of words to use to practice syllable stress, but the 🛑 problem is that they are words you might not be likely to use.

🧑‍🏫 Even as an expert, I was having trouble finding useful lists to practice syllable stress. So... ✍️ I made exactly what my clients needed- the 🥇 MOST IMPORTANT words in English worth drilling. I started with the most common words we use in English. 🗒 The list was easy enough to get, but now what? 🤔 I had to find a way to simplify it!

🕵️ Out of the most frequent 500 words in English, most are only 1 syllable. 💪 I divided all the rest into categories based on NOT ONLY how many syllables but which syllable is stressed! I came up with 8 Patterns for you to perfect. 🎶 By patterns, I mean that I grouped them by the prosody they have, the music. You'll see patterns like "DAda" and 'dadaDAda"!
