I am a 60 year old gal, teaching myself to make documentaries. I figured I'd start with something I know; my punk rock adolescence in Austin. It's not about me though, it's about the whole of the thing that happened from around 1977 to about 1985 or thereabouts.

Right now I am working hard to finish parts two and three and it is requiring significant amounts of coffee. Parts two and three will cover the Big Boys, the Dicks, the Offenders, Scratch Acid, the Buttholes and the Hickoids to name a few. I've interviewed about 40 people so far and I have about a dozen more to go. We will cover the hang outs, the feuds and the shows that made the scene genius.
