Hi, I'm the entire engineering department at Able V Labs. 👋

I'm one person who builds small, honest software and gives it away: a golf caddie that tells you when NOT to trust it (Trust the Goose), a security scanner that's paranoid so you don't have to be (Paranoid Penguin), a lifting coach that reads every set (vita), plus a growing pile of data tools in between. No team, no funding, no investors, just me, a laptop, and an unreasonable number of open browser tabs.

Here's the honest part: everything I ship is free and open source. The code costs nothing. The coffee that writes it, unfortunately, does not.

This isn't even my career.

I'm a dad of five with a full-time life outside of tech. Able V Labs is what happens after the kids are asleep and the house finally gets quiet. Most of these projects were built in the few hours a week I can steal between family, work, and convincing myself that "this feature will only take 20 minutes." (It never does.)
