A Decade Ago, We Had No Idea This Life Was Possible

This was our setup back in 2013. That’s my husband in the picture. At this time, we had no idea that working from home was even possible. We didn’t know that you could earn a living without leaving the house.

I had just given birth to our firstborn, and I had no choice but to go back to work as soon as possible—cutting my maternity leave short because we had no financial backup and no one else to rely on. My husband was also doing everything he could to provide for us. It was tough, but we pushed through.

Looking at this picture now, I can’t help but feel emotional. We had no idea back then how far we would go. The life we used to dream of? We’re living it now.

To anyone who feels stuck or hopeless—please know that things can change. Keep going. Keep believing. One day, you'll look back and realize just how far you've come.
