Don't Settle For Less

"We've always done it this way," is the enemy of, "Wow! I can't believe we didn't come up with this sooner!"

Complacency & Innovation. Enemies since the beginning of time.

When we compare the alternatives, it's blatantly obvious that Option B crushes Option A:

- B. Wheels vs. A. Legs
- B. Streaming vs. A. VHS's
- B. Word Processors & B2. Spreadsheet Software vs. A. Pen & A2. Paper

So why do we settle for less?

Maybe it's that we would be required to reframe the way that we understand a topic? Maybe we are comfortable in the current 'swing of things'? Maybe the "new" way would look like we've been wasting our time all along? Maybe the amount of effort to implement something new seems to outweigh the inconveniences of the current methods?

Whatever the reason, consider this quote,

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it... But if it COULD be better, then it's as good as broke."
