I am Salty Beard (a.k.a. Rob), a 'Salt of the Earth' guy known for my beard and my hankering for adventure, whether on a bike, out fishing, exploring, or even just cooking stuff by the fire.
I enjoy creating inspiring films of my adventures, places to go and the gear I use. Currently, I can be found on YouTube, and Instagram, with extra content on BikeGearDatabase.com, along with routes on RideWithGPS. I'm also the instigator of the Caves & Coves Tough Tour photo-based bikepacking race that takes place on Vancouver Island.
