Creating a PC UE4 Video Game
Hello everyone! My name is Manthos and I am a Greek Professional Artist. My passion has always been, drawing, painting and playing video games. Thus, I chased the dream of becoming an industry Artist and offer my work to the world. Many years later, I felt the creative need to start making a video game of my own, telling stories that have been influenced from my life events, Good and bad that defined who I am. My first solo video game has now been in development for a few years and it is my side project while I am doing artwork commissions or working full time as an artist. The goal is to turn it into a commercial project and publish it. I plan on posting updates and offer content here as well. 'ASTHENIA' is a Dark Fantasy, First person adventure PC Game made in Unreal Engine 4. Story Summary After a traumatic event, a man finds himself in an alternate world where ancient entities are in war with each other. He must prevail the challenges of those lands, solve the mystery surrounding the conflict but also battle his own fears and past in order to escape this dimension unharmed. key Gameplay Features: - Exploration: Discover hidden items, progression keys, lore, and other objects - Combat: Engage into close melee encounters using a sacred ancient Gauntlet as well a secondary secret weapon - The Gauntlet: An ancient relic that has the power to interact with certain environment objects, used as a melee weapon capable of harming foes and even command specific individuals - Survival: The Gauntlet consumes sacred energy in order to perform certain actions. Those energy pools are limited in the game and can only be used once. Health pools are also scattered and limited throughout the world. Find the means to locate those pools or other methods in order to gain back energy and health needed to survive -Multiple Fight Methods: Engaging face to face is not the only option. Use traps and other destructible environment objects to battle and defeat foes - Secret Gauntlet Abilities: The Gauntlet does not have just one use. Explore and discover the hidden ability in order to unlock it's full potential -Adaptive Enemies Count: The number of enemies encountered will vary depending the objects and abilities acquired - Platforming: Cross several areas where traversing the world vertically is necessary - Diverse Paths: Choose the path that will determine the outcome of the story but also provide different challenges and areas - Alternative Endings: More than one set ending, based on your actions and choices throughout the game - Boss Fights: Face Epic scale bosses and other sub- optional and secret bosses - Upgrades: Discover the hidden upgrades for the player's health and stamina If you are interested in supporting my art and my journey of making this game a reality but also a full time business and job, your help could make a difference!
