On Souls Lost in Asia, Tim Curry’s Quiver, Dolly Parton’s Moxie & Cal: 8/30 - 9/6, 2026 Soulful Communiqué A message in a bottle washed ashore. In long hand the words spoke, “allow your eyes to receive the beauty swirling in the storms.” ♥️ Tim Curry had me at hello. At age 11, I started sneaking out of the house on foot to catch the midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show within which he played the man-maker, baritone belting, full-bodied Frank-N-Furter. Loved his other performances & his vibe too. In a parallel reality, Dolly Parton’s vigor moved me. Her life radiated like a dream. Among artful & philanthropic things a plenty, Dolly fostered a love of reading in her Imagination Library, a program in which kids receive one book per month from birth until their first day of school. In the year after World War II’s end & born exactly 3 months apart, Dolly & Tim’s numerology combined makes an 11 (Dolly was a 22 & Tim was a 7.) As fate would have it, they passed on the exact same day, August 25th of this year. Let us pray for the sudden losses in Asia. Like an exclamation point the glacial collapse & rock-ice avalanche on the Tibetan-Nepalese border occurred at 8:37-8:40am local time on August 26th - still the 25th in the Americas. Time warped minutes, forces of nature - Tim & Dolly, divinity aplenty in the many souls swept to the other side in a handful of heartbeats & all that remains as the waters recede.
