Happy News: ✨✨✨
TODAY is ELECTION DAY! 🎉
PLEASE VOTE in this most consequential election of our generation! 🌱
IT'S NOT TOO LATE! 🌞
• If you're not registered or don't know if you still are - a lot of states have same-day registration or allow you to vote with a PROVISIONAL BALLOT.
• If you haven't voted in the primary election YOU ARE ALLOWED to vote in the general election.
• If you're standing in line before the polls are closing YOU ARE ALLOWED to vote when it's your turn. Don't be discouraged, stay in line until you can vote. It's worth it! You will be so proud of yourself if you stick it out.
• YOU ARE ALLOWED to bring your own chair, water, and favorite snacks. Listen to your favorite playlist while waiting or do some people watching. This election is historic and you'll be able to tell the awesome tale of how you helped to save our democracy to your grandchildren - or your grand-kittens! ;)
• If you're a disabled citizen, YOU ARE ALLOWED to bring your care taker to the voting booth to help you, or ask for the assistance of the poll worker.
• GIVE your elderly neighbor or friends and family A RIDE TO THE POLLS. Often they would like to vote, but don't have transportation or cant find a ride. You would make their day!
• DON'T BE INTIMIDATED by anyone, not even your husband to vote your conscience. Your vote is yours and yours alone. It's totally secret and nobody will ever know how you voted in this election.
• VOTE FOR DEMOCRACY, human decency, freedom, common sense and science-based policies, economic fairness and the pursuit of happiness for everyone!

"My daily challenge to myself is to be part of the solution, to be a joyful warrior in the battle to come. My challenge to you is to join that effort. To stand up for our ideals and our values. Let's not throw up our hands when it's time to roll up our sleeves. Not now. Not tomorrow. Not ever.
Years from now, our children and our grandchildren will look up and lock eyes with us. They will ask us where we were when the stakes were so high. They will ask us what it was like. I don't want us to just tell them how we felt. I want us to tell them what we did.”
— Kamala Harris, The Truth We Hold: An American Journey

“One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words.”
