Hello there!
We are a D.I.D. system, made up of 12 known alters, 4 of which front publicly. We plan to publish our books under our host's name, L. Russell, but please know that his memories only go back 3 years ['23]. Most of our stories come from alters who aren't capable of maintaining presence in our body.
Our stories focus on the life-long effects of trauma & systemic abuse. However, we highlight the benefits of self-love, building community with intention & discernment, & mind-altering plants above all.
Astin Gaël is our resident witch, plant enthusiast, & social butterfly. Without them, we wouldn't be willing to share our story. With dissociative disorders there are parts that are more 'egoic' in nature & parts that are fragmented. A.G. is a fusion of several alters who've been present most of our life, which means he's more well-rounded, but also more 'egoic'. He's actively healing & evolving; our whole system is very proud of his accomplishments, so far, & look forward to what's to come. - Liam
Liam is the host of our system & keeper of the peace. He stepped up as host shortly after we arrived in New Mexico. We were participating in a trial study, using an herbal supplement, meant to increase our androgen levels. Essentially, an herbal version of testosterone. He helped us see how long we'd been BEGGING to be seen for who we always knew ourselves to be...
"It's a girl!", the doctor exclaimed as the child, previously thought to be a boy, was birthed into the world. But, he wasn't a girl. And, no matter how hard they tried, he never 'fit the mold' created for her.
...He also helped us cull our inner circle of anyone who seemed intent on keeping us chained to an image that had been curated for our safety. A mask worn to please. An identity built on lies. He is the 'savior' we kept searching for in another. We are eternally grateful for the equilibrium he re-stored. - A.G.
Percy is the old man in a wingback chair, smoking a pipe, reading a book, & muttering under his breath, "Those damn kids are at it again!" Without him resurfacing from the depths of our repressed memories 4 years ago ['22], we would've remained hopelessly bound to people we saw as 'superior'. He is the mentor we kept searching for. The father figure we lost too soon. The firm foundation we needed to make moves towards independence. He is also the person who taught me how to be a man, without being domineering, aggressive, & chasing power over everything. - Liam
Last, but certainly not least, is Chet. Our given name at birth was Chelsea; our dad, however, called us Chels. He seemed to 'just know' that something about us was different. Chet is Chels, fully embodied. He is the only alter who identifies as a cisgender man. He self-actualized around the time we realized that in order to be 'seen' in certain environments one needs to 'BE AGGRESSIVE, BE, BE, AGGRESSIVE'...
...when that time was, we're not sure. Maybe around college?!?
Anyway, without him we would have a hard time just BE-ing. He is the calm to our storm. The one most likely to be found sitting in nature, simply existing. He is the ideal embodiment of what man can be once he puts aside the need to ACT on every opportunity. We joke that his interests ONLY include country music & sippin' on beer; like many of us he has depths that one only sees if they choose to. -A.G.
We feel it is our purpose in life to help other's see themself[ves] through a clear & loving lens. It's been said that one can't be a healer until they've healed themself. It's also been said that in healing other's one can heal their own wounds. We believe both of these statements to be true.
One wouldn't buy fish from a guy who specializes in beef...
Why then seek healing from someone with gaping wounds?
We remain open to constructive criticism & education from those who've travelled further down the path, or those on different paths than our own. We do not claim to 'know better' than anyone. Nor do we consider ourselves to be an authority on anything we speak of. We are merely perpetual students of life who enjoy sharing the information we find.
