My first 3d cookie was a dragons egg...but it took me 2 yrs to take a suggestion from a friend. She said that the egg shape looked like an Audrey II head, maybe I should try to make one. Well it took 2 yrs for me to get brave enough to try. But when I did, I went for way more than just the head. Now guts no glory so they say. Many trials and tribulations were had in the week and a half of making all 4 Cookie sculptures. Many tears of frustration and laughs at myself were had, lol! Especially after the heads rolled, in a heatvwave, and transportation faux pas. ( Whoopsie!) This is why I'm not an engineer.
But I had fun making them, even with much cursing involved.
It's an all edible version of Audrey II. The planter, stem, and head were made of sugar cookie. The teeth and lips were made from homemade marshmallow fondant. The vines and leaves were homemade modeling chocolate. I also filled the Planter up with red velvet, covered with chocolate and oreo crumbs. They looked really cute, and design flaws aside were something I was proud of. I learned quite a bit in the attempt to create something new. Will attempt to make again.
