I'm currently on a quest to find great value for money restaurants in the Thalang area which covers Bang Tao, Cherngtalay, Surin Beach to mention just a few.
So far I've been amazed at the quality of some restaurants in this area not only offering great tasting food but at very affordable prices 🙂
Thalang District is a very large Area covering most of the northern part of Phuket. Starting from just below Thao Thep Krasattri & Thao Si Sunthon Monument on the east side of the island & Surin beach on the West Side all the way up to Sarasin bridge, So a lot of possibilities when it comes to eating.
Let's start of with a favorite breakfast place the I've found in Bang Tao.
This small unassuming shop offers some of the best coffee I've found in Phuket so far, for a long time Thailand has never been known for great coffee but slowly over the years things have improved.
Hot Latte & Iced American Orange.
The guy who runs the coffee side takes great care and offers some interesting choices.
For me coffee has to be smooth with no bitter after taste, Vespa coffee nails it with a delightful cup 😋 getting breakfast off to a great start. They even offer a choice of milks for people who prefer non dairy.
The food menu is Halal based with simple but delicious choices.
I normally go for a breakfast plate which consists of egg choice of styles, sausage 'smoked hotdog' small salad, Roti & chicken curry all delicious.
Two breakfasts & Two coffees with a side order of honey toast came to 245 baht definitely value for money 🙂.
Finding the restaurant: The restaurant is positioned on Srisoonthorn Rd the main road running between Cherngtalay & Surin Beach.
The Shop is open daily until 2pm.
