Learning something from a hen encapsulates the profound simplicity and wisdom of nature. Observing a hen can be a masterclass in patience, responsibility, and nurturing.

These birds demonstrate the importance of vigilance and care as they protect their eggs and chicks from predators, teaching us about the power of dedication and the instinct to safeguard those who are vulnerable.

The hen's methodical approach to foraging for food also offers lessons in diligence and the reward of hard work. In essence, even something as commonplace as a hen's daily routine can enlighten us about the fundamental virtues of life, underlining how nature inherently embodies lessons on living with purpose and care.

  • Good planning

It first lays enough eggs before sitting on them

  • Discipline

When it starts sitting on the eggs it minimizes movement

  • Sacrifice and Self denial

  • Faith, Hope and Courage

It sits on the eggs for 21 days patiently waiting and even if they don't hatch it will still lay eggs again

  • Sensitive and discerning

  • Wise, Conscious and Realistic

It abandons the rotten eggs and starts caring for the hatched chicks even if it is only one chick

  • Unity of purpose
