I’m fundraising for my PCC accreditation and whatever I raise, I’ll give back in coaching scholarships.
In my bubble, I haven't heard of any coach fundraising for her coaching education and credentialing process.
Yes, it feels crazy, scary and bold.
A year ago, I completed the switch from a humanitarian aid career to coaching, in the quest for the meaningful work I love doing and creating the life that works for me: to be able to spend time with my son, live slowlier, be able to live somewhere in the middle of Africa, and to have time for other things that are important to me.
I started from not knowing coaching existed. Now I'm an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and coaching is my main source of income.
I want to be the best possible coach to my clients, helping them gain clarity, take action, and build consistency. That's why I want to continue my coaching education journey. Earning PCC (Professional Certified Coach) will make me a better coach (and human!), but also show my commitment to my clients and my coaching craft. I'm willing to do the uncomfortable to become a better coach so I can create more positive change.
So why am I asking for help?
To apply for PCC, I already have the coaching hours required. What I don’t yet have are the hours of coach education and mentoring. The training costs money. Money I don’t have right now.
2025 was my first year as a solopreneur and I'm really proud I made it. However, nothing much remains for savings.
Could this wait? Yes. But my ICF accreditation expires next year, and I feel ready to invest in the next level now. Is this life-saving? No.
But I believe in creating the life that works for us. That’s why I left my job in the non‑profit world to focus fully on coaching. With this fundraising campaign, I want to show others on a similar journey that creating the life that works for us is possible.
My working reframe of "asking for help"is this: asking for help is a sign of resilience, determination, creativity and a bit (or lot) of bravery.
So I decided to see what would happen if I asked for help towards my PCC journey.
The only way to know is to try.
Here’s what your support would directly fund:
Coaching in Organizations Course run by SolutionsAcademy (I did my ACC training with them). The cohort starts on March 25th 2026 and runs for 24weeks, providing everything I need to apply for my PCC accreditation with ICF. €2900.
PCC application with ICF. $525
The first milestone is €1000 for the first payment on the course, by March 25th.
Your contribution will fund coaching scholarships
All the money I receive towards my coach education and accreditation, I will give back in coaching scholarships for people who can’t afford coaching. It matters to me, because I know what difference coaching can make and I want to make it accessible.
Fundraising the full amount would equal approximately 10 to 20 people supported with pro‑bono coaching (estimate based on my packages).
