I've been quiet, but things have been happening in the background. Here is an update.
2 races done
The second leg of my coach journey education fundraising campaign was successful, even if my legs felt the pain.
I ran the second half-marathon as challenged, and even if my initial goal was just to "run it without stopping", I was happy to beat my race record from four weeks ago by almost a minute. Yay!
Chimps supported
I also promised that I would contribute half of the amount I fundraised in this period to Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage, and when I did, it coincided with the 2026 Giving Day for Apes - and I got this sweet certificate of appreciation!
PCC course 99% completed
The six-month coaching course I signed up for finalised at the end of September, and I'm almost there when it comes to the requirements to apply for the Professional Certified Coach accreditation with the International Coaching Federation.
I got the required coaching hours
I got my PCC-level pass for a coaching session recording reviewed by a coach mentor
I have completed the course sessions
What's remaining now are two more mentor coaching sessions and the logistics: finalizing the course payment and paying the fee for the accreditation exam.
And this is the tricky part: I still have a way to go, having reached 21% of the total goal (And I'm so grateful for the people and organisations that supported me so far. I really appreciate each one of you.)
If this journey and idea resonates with you, I'd love your support, in any way to help me push through and get my accreditation done. Here are some ideas on how you can do that:
