Zunepedia was released two years ago today on the 14th of September 2001 and was the result of many weeks of work, along with contributions from the community who provided photographs of their unique collections for inclusion.
Zunepedia will be available for two months in a limited-edition 2nd Anniversary Edition at zunepedia.com along with a link to a special episode of the RoguePlanetoid Podcast about Zunepedia offering a great companion episode to listen to while looking through the digital coffee table book. Any donations for Zunepedia have been and will continue to be donated to The Cyber Helpline who provide free, expert help for victims of cybercrime, digital fraud & online harm to help support them in the fight against cybercrime & online harm.
It was also great this year to see parts of Zunepedia appear in the YouTube video The Entire History of the Zune as I’d always wanted to be able to put together the content in video form but didn’t quite have the skills needed to do it, which is why I unfortunately decided to cancel my plans for my own video version of Zunepedia. However, I’m sure I will revisit Zunepedia in other forms in the future and is great to add something new each anniversary so will be great to see what I can do for the 3rd Anniversary of Zunepedia!
