Few years ago I started to learn Japanese - because why not? - and I’ve realized how simple it is - not the whole language, but the polite way they want to express emotions. Ikigai is a Japanese word for “reason for living”, but maybe it’s more complicated than that.
Ikigai where your passion, soul, salary and others’ needs meet. The way how we could be precious.
When I found a hobby, I always dreamed about it as a profession. When I started to build LEGO cars, I wanted to be an engineer but for sure I’m not good at math, so I’ve started to take photos of my buildings or make videos about them. This wasn’t the first time when I was obsessed with photography or content creation but it was a really good way to improve my imagination.
My first UX / UI design was my first website - forget it - as a self-employee. It was 5+ years ago. Since then I’ve learned the way of visual communication, I’ve read a lot about storytelling, colouring, user experience, and now I’m still learning.
Through the years I find myself, with a camera in my hand, or sitting front of the monitor while I build and design user flows. No matter where I worked before, I always do my best in every way.
But - I hope - I’m on my way to find “Ikigai” as a designer and a photographer. Here you can follow my journey, and collect some part of it.
