We recently got asked about this chimney breast which was damaged after the recent heavy downpour in London. As you can see, a large section of the chimney has fallen away.
Chimneys are no longer used in many houses in and around London and therefore there are two main options.
1) To repair the chimney, mainly for keeping the traditional heritage and Victorian character of the property.
2) To demolish it and make good the roof.
Both are feasible options and each options has their pros and cons.
