Getting a visa to Tajikistan

It should be noted that a foreign citizen traveling by air directly over the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan does not need a transit visa. A foreign citizen transiting through the airports of the Republic of Tajikistan to third countries does not need a visa, provided that the foreign citizen does not cross the state border through a state border checkpoint.
A transit visa is issued to a foreign citizen of a third country if the foreign citizen has legal grounds for his/her stay in the country where the consular office of the Republic of Tajikistan is located.

The date of submission of visa application is the day on which all the documents are submitted correctly.
