I’ve written blog posts for cybersecurity companies. Self-help books. Thousands of words a week for clients.
But these poems were different.
Nobody paid me to write them. Nobody asked for them.
I wrote them during a season when things felt heavy and prayer was the only thing that made sense. Writing was how I sat with it.
Some nights the words came as a prayer. Some nights they came as a reminder I needed to hear myself.
That’s the thing about poems. You write them for yourself first. Then one day you realize someone else might need them more.
So I put 30 of them together.
They’re about hard days, faith, unanswered prayers, and the people who stay when life gets heavy. They’re short. You can read one in a minute. But I hope a few stay with you longer than that.
Here are three of them.
This one is about the storms that don’t make sense while you’re in them. And trusting Allah anyway.
I wrote this one for anyone who’s carrying something quietly. Sometimes people don’t need advice. They just need someone to stay.
Here is one on gratitude:
If these three meant something to you, the full collection is here: 30 Poems for When Hard Isn’t Hopeless
And if you just want to support the writing, a coffee keeps me going. I read and appreciate every single one.
Which of the two hit harder for you? Tell me in the comments.
