Today, I am introducing Plex Bridge, the first stable release of my new premium module for Foundry VTT.
Plex Bridge connects your personal Plex music library to Foundry playlists. You can search for artists, albums, tracks, and Plex playlists, then import them directly into your games.
The module includes:
Artist, album, track, and playlist search
Import into existing or newly created Foundry playlists
Browser-compatible audio transcoding
Playback synchronization between participants
Sonic Similar, Auto-DJ, and Sonic Adventure features
Plex Bridge uses a Gateway to communicate securely with Plex. Your Plex token is never shared with players or stored in Foundry playlist documents. Players only receive temporary signed links for audio and artwork.
You can choose the option that best suits your needs:
Standalone: purchase Plex Bridge on itch.io and run the open-source Gateway yourself.
Hosted services – €3/month: purchase Plex Bridge separately and use the hosted Gateway without maintaining your own server, domain, TLS certificate, or reverse proxy. A 7-day free trial is included.
Access to my modules – €7/month: get access to Plex Bridge, Deep Translate, their hosted services, and my current and future Foundry VTT modules for as long as your membership remains active.
Plex Bridge requires Foundry VTT 14 and a Plex Media Server. Plex Pass is only required for the Sonic features. Third-party subscriptions are not included.
