A Lot Is Happening in the Hollow

The last several days have been wild—in the best possible way—and I wanted to share a quick update on everything happening behind the scenes with Horseman Rising.

The VIP Bags Are Going to Be Incredible

I have been absolutely blown away by the interest from businesses, makers, and corporate sponsors who want to support the Horseman Rising launch events.

Several have already committed to donating products, prizes, discounts, or other items for the VIP gift bags and event raffles.

And I need to make something very clear:

These are not going to be random, junky swag bags filled with things no one actually wants.

They are being thoughtfully curated around Horseman Rising, Sleepy Hollow, the Hudson Valley, autumn, folklore, books, and the atmosphere of the story.

They are going to be thematic, immersive, useful, and genuinely special.

VIP News Is Coming Soon

I will have more information very soon about how to become a VIP for the two largest signing events.

The VIP opportunity will involve pre-ordering a signed print copy of Horseman Rising and will come with several perks—in addition to receiving one of the curated gift bags.

I am still finalizing the details, but I am extremely excited about what is coming together.

Sponsor Announcements Are Coming, Too

I will also begin introducing the businesses, donors, sponsors, and event partners helping make all of this possible.

There are some wonderful people and companies involved, and I want to give each of them the proper spotlight rather than tossing everyone into one giant announcement.

The Ebook Is Out—and It Is Doing Well

The Horseman Rising ebook is officially live on Amazon and available on Kindle Unlimited (KU), and I am very happy with how the launch has gone so far.

The early reviews, messages, shares, and support have been incredibly encouraging.

Releasing a book is always nerve-racking, but this one feels especially personal. Watching readers begin to enter the Hollow—and respond so positively—has meant more than I can really explain.

I Have the Paperback and Hardcover Proofs

I now have proofs of both the paperback and hardcover editions, and they are honestly stunning.

The interior artwork, atmospheric formatting, shading, and special design details have come together beautifully.

There is one small issue involving the printed edges that I need to iron out. Once that adjustment is made, I will order one more set of proofs to make sure everything is exactly right.

I know waiting is hard, but I would rather take a little extra time now than approve books that are not quite perfect.

Retail Copies Are the Next Step

Once the final proofs are approved, I will place my first major order for author copies.

Those books will come with me to bookstores, gift shops, attractions, and other retail locations throughout the Hudson Valley as I continue building local partnerships and expanding where readers can find Horseman Rising.

The response from local businesses so far has been incredibly encouraging, and I am excited to see how far the Horseman may travel.

Wholesale Ordering Is Now Set Up

In related news, I officially have a wholesale ordering site through Beventi.

This means retailers can order directly through me at a discounted wholesale price, prepay for their books, and receive signed copies for their stores.

It gives shops a simple alternative to consignment while still allowing me to work directly and personally with independent retailers.

That may not sound like the flashiest announcement, but it is a huge step in making the book easier for stores to carry.

This Is Becoming Much Bigger Than a Book Release

What began as the launch of one book is quickly becoming something much larger.

It is becoming a regional celebration involving readers, authors, bookstores, venues, makers, sponsors, small businesses, and people who share a love of the Hudson Valley and its legends.

And somehow, new pieces keep falling into place every day.
