How did your week go? Mine went as good as could be expected. I've written nearly 80,000 words on top of the client work and live streams. It's been a rough go, but I definitely got this.
Though, I did mess up my schedule a bit this week. I need to write an extra post sometime soon so that I can get back on track with being ahead by a day. However, the kids aren't coming down this weekend and I have no social life...so I can probably get a few more posts written over the next couple of days.
Still Can't Get Enough Time for Videos
One of the drawbacks to writing so much lately is that it's made it impossible to get more video content up. Then again, I am still working on improving my time management skills.
And, being on this low-carb diet has made it difficult to muster up any kind of energy.
I'm hoping that I can get one or two videos out next week, but I guess that really depends on if I can stay focused and ready to go. I have no problem doing the live streams, since they are later in the afternoon long after my day is done. I just want to get more regular videos up soon.
A Lot of Changes Starting in October
I've been toying around and arranging my calendar for when this 30 days of blogging experiment is over. And I can say, I definitely have too much on my plate.
The hardest part is deciding what areas to decrease to give the more important stuff more of my time. Because I really don't want to give anything up entirely.
But if I want to give you guys the best part of me, I need to make some serious changes.
That means dedicating priority time to various projects that need to be done throughout the week. And, I'll probably wind up doing a few more live videos in the mornings, especially for the gaming channel.
In any case, this current blogging challenge has made me painfully aware of just how much I am trying to take on. I need to stabilize one before moving on to the next.
Looking Forward to Next Week!
Aside from the blogging, I do have a few tweaks I want to try during the week. It's all about finding efficient methods to handle all of the projects I am working on.
I'm even going to try to schedule video time. Because if I can hammer out the logistics of everything, I'll end this year far more successful than I originally had planned.
Not to mention I am exceptionally close to having the eBook done. I know I keep saying that, but I am. And if all goes well next week, I might actually be done with the writing part of the process.
I've even gone so far as to begin the eBook series for self-publishing on WriterSanctuary's blog.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for that.
What Are Your Goals for Next Week?
What kind of things are you looking to accomplish next week? Do you have some set goals that you're ready to tackle?
Personally, I am focusing on time efficiency. Yes, that is part of my spreadsheet, and I know I have some areas that need fixing. If I can get a handle on my day, I'm truly excited to see what I can accomplish.
Make the week yours and work on being a better version of yourself. You are the only one who stands in your way.
