I've been working on spot fixes to the Combat section, so today's instalment is an update to the notoriously tricky Parry section.
The core rule is from CM's man-to-man, which describes four parry scenarios based on comparisons of the attacker/defender's weapons on a 12-point scale of size/reach. It's a tad complex.
Holmes merges two of M2M's parry scenarios into a single, simplified scenario, which is so much friendlier.
DD5 rolls these together and includes the three M2M parry scenarios that are practical in a D&D context, combined with three (Holmes-inspired) weapon sizes. So, let's see...
