Hi all! As you may know, got more active on buymeacoffee recently to hopefully help UncaughtCursor cover hosting costs for MakerCentral.io. The idea of engaging in such an arrangement with someone who ultimately amounts to a stranger (myself) proved too uncomfortable for our brilliant friend, and monetizing the site at all was a risky proposition because he was afraid of attracting attention from Nintendo.
Something about the equation has changed, and UncaughtCursor has started a Patreon in hopes to cover a modest $150/month in hosting charges.
I can tell you as a career professional, this is extremely reasonable. The index sizes necessary to achieve the search functionality available on MakerCentral are gargantuan.
