Mandalas are made from two pieces of acrylic, which may or may not result in a bookend, or mirror design mostly along the top which is the most visible. I never know until I cut them if this is going to work or not so it is always a toss up.
A normal block is 3/4 inches
After cutting it may or may not reveal a mirrored half. This one does.
Another challenge is that the blocks are not always even, so I must make them connect through the center. I have a couple different ways to do this but it doesn't always work. Once they connect all the way down the center I bond them and start the fork making process.
