Here you will find stories that root artworks into place. Sisters Jacqueline and Emily Maloney compose together, in celebration of the beauty that comes when we take a breath and notice. We are seeking out the wild present, and when we find our way there, we do our best to get our hands dirty, tread thoughtfully, and chew well.
We focus on fine craftsmanship and artistry in whatever we create. We insist upon knowing the story of every material we use, tracing it all the way back to the rooted, mineral, or warm-blooded living bodies from which it first came. We are serious about sustainable practices.
Where possible, we use unwanted materials, repurposing off-casts to give them new life. Our line of recycled pocket notebooks are made of the unused drawings, stained papers, and torn edges of cropped watercolor paintings. Hand-bound into a new form, ready for your daydreams and visions.
Our objects are an invitation for you to meditate on your connection to your landscape, a beckoning into the wild origins of your animal body, your mythic self who knows the meaning of belonging on earth. Thank you for coming along with us!
