The Whiskey Witches are a harmony-driven folk-rock trio and whiskey-loving performance group that blends live music, storytelling, and spirited tastings into one magical experience, both on stage and on screen. We help people feel braver, more connected, and more curious about whiskey by turning every show, festival set, and review into a place where everyone belongs at the table (or the cauldron).

## Who we are

We began as three women on cast at the Ohio Renaissance Festival whose onstage chemistry, love of whiskey, and offstage shenanigans refused to stay behind the curtain. Today, we’re a traveling band of **witches** with guitars, bodhráns, and tasting glasses, singing tight harmonies and raising spirits at faires, taverns, cruises, and online.

## What we do

At the Ohio Renaissance Festival, we host the Witches of Willy-Nilly Whiskey Tasting at the Tipsy Cauldron, guiding guests through six rotating premium spirits with equal parts education, humor, and chaos. We also perform “Witches' Last Call,” a live musical set where we mix folk-rock, storytelling, and audience banter into a raucous, witchy singalong.

Beyond the faire, we bring our tasting experience and music to venues like taverns and bars, pairing curated pours with live harmonies and interactive shows. Online, our Whiskey Witches channel and socials feature whiskey reviews, cocktail experiments, and behind-the-scenes antics so fans can hang out with us year-round.

## Why it matters

Whiskey can feel intimidating, gatekept, or “not for people like me,” and we exist to smash that illusion with a cackle and a chorus. We turn tasting into storytelling—sharing history, production, and flavor in plain language—so newcomers feel welcome and seasoned drinkers still learn something new.

Our shows create a shared ritual: strangers raise a glass together, laugh at the same bad jokes, and leave feeling a little more enchanted with each other and the world. In a noisy, divided world, a song and a shared dram are small acts of rebellion in favor of joy, community, and wonder.
