How I build: Define the win condition first. Design for failure modes. Prefer clarity over cleverness. Ship in small, measurable slices. Documentation is part of the system.
What your support covers: Maintenance on public tools, tooling costs, and uninterrupted time to ship reliably. If a system can't be inspected, versioned, and explained, it doesn't ship. That standard takes time to hold.
