Wellness Check 6/14

It's Monday. It's a pretty tough day for most of us back to work, the grind, the soul crushing drudgery of our normal lives.

So to combat that I suggest starting your week on a stronger note. Start with a solid breakfast. Not the usual 3 cups of coffee, 4 ibuprofen, and xanax. Having something with protein and natural sugars (fruit!) and spend 5 minutes streching even if you're going to sit all day. It will help wake you up and get your blood flowing and blood flow is a concern that desk workers need to concern themselves with.

But that takes care of you physically. How about your mental health. Listening to music is good. Or a funny new episode of Don't Make It Weird. Find sometime in the day on lunch or breaks to engage in something nonwork related. Even if you are a full time artist/writer take sometime out to let your mind defocus from your task. Maybe try to focus on your concentration and focus from the wellness check on the 11th. Try to have a better day than your usual Monday and it will make the rest of the week feel better to.
