I'm still sick and feeling like crap with congestion and sore throat, it's super fun let me tell you. The past few days well being sick it's gotten me super down which just feels completely unnecessary given that I was already sick.
So last night I decided to do something simple yet fun and made a batch of chocolate chip cookies. I then proceeded to eat half of that batch. Was this good for me? Physically no, not at all. Did it taste delicious and make me feel better about life in that moment? Absolutely.
As such I recommend you do the same thing if you are feeling down. Does it have to be chocolate chip cookies? No, does it even have to be cookies? No (though why would you not want cookies, do you just hate warm dough sugary goodness?). But do something simple and fun for yourself today because it might suck, but there's always cookies.
