I'm Alex, and I created Waterfox back in 2011 out of a simple belief: you deserve a browser that respects you.

What started as a 64-bit rebuild of Firefox has grown into something much more meaningful; a browser built on the principles of privacy, performance, and user control. Waterfox is privacy focused and performance oriented, with zero telemetry, no data collection, and no tracking

I'm now maintaining Waterfox as a truly independent project. That independence means I can stay true to the values that matter - your privacy, your control, and your right to browse the web without compromise.
