I am a spiritual healer and began my path 12 years ago after an awakening. I spent a lot of time learning about energy healing, shamanic, Buddhist and other spiritual teachings. In the spring of 2019, I had a vision and request to develop “Wakan Drums”, The vision was to build sacred drums that use many sacred tree woods in each drum frame. Each wood species in the frame honors the Tall People, Tribes, Cultures and Beliefs from all over. In addition to the variety of wood, I place special minerals, crushed rock, sands and yarns into the grooves between the wood layers (rings) that are direct links to special sacred aspects. For example, inside the top ring of each drum that supports the drum hide, he places Basalt rock fiber as a structural element. However, the important part of Basalt is that it was the Grandfather Stones that were in his first Inipi (sweat lodge) held back in the Pacific Northwest. In this manner, this gives each drum holder, user and Keeper their direct spiritual link the Grandfathers and Grandmothers. The drums are special gateways/portals for many bridging over the veil between us in the 3d world to who we are as spiritual beings as well as with many spirits. For some people, they may not feel much when holding a drum, but for others, it can be a very unique experience.
