3 May Motanka Doll Workshop

The Lithuanian Cultural Centre in Belgium hosted a workshop for Motanka, a traditional Ukrainian doll. Though the group was small, the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Participants learned about Motanka's history, symbolism, and production techniques. Motanka is more than a doll; it's a protective talisman with deep cultural meaning. Everyone was engaged and in good spirits during the workshop, which ended with everyone taking home their own unique Motanka. Participants were delighted and hope there will be more similar events.
