My job title should really be this: semi-professional code typer.
I've recently been thinking, do I love typing? Let's investigate: I type pretty much everyday (lots of hours in fact), I invested lots of human dollars in a Moonlander and a Planck EZ, you might find me just typing random nonsense on monkeytype, and on a good day i can do more than 100wpm.
So maybe yes, i do like typing a little bit. But I'm definitely not a "keyboard over-enthusiast". Rapid RGB flexing does not impress me as much as a nicely placed orthogonal keyboard.
Anyway, I'm getting side-tracked. I built a github action called monkeytype-readme that can show monkeytype personal record in wpm, in the form of badges (because you know, everyone loves badges).
That's just an excuse really: I wanted to type some more code, this time to learn how to build a github action, and also sneak in some unit tests, which is always nice. So all in all the project was quite fun, nothing to complain really.
Disclaimer: the dynamic github action may or may not run successfully depending on how much you have prayed to your ancestors in the morning (and also on monkeytype cloudflare server :shrug:)
