It's official, Gentle Reader: I'm an author of digital children's books!
About a decade ago, I spent several days looking at children's books and contemplating buying a course on how to create them.
Nothing came out of that interest, because I couldn't see myself hiring and illustrator and being rejected by publishers at least 12 times, like "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and "The Hunt for Red October." Probably more. Not to mention marketing it myself.
But now there's artificial intelligence, and social media has ballooned into something mythical.
And so it's been a steep learning curve. Both in terms of storytelling and in working with the AI as my illustrator and assistant. I have several images to share that are very odd indeed. Just you wait and see!
I call all my videos and short films cinematographic masterpieces, even the worst ones. Now I also have literary masterpieces in all their improperly-formatted glory with mismatched elements.
If they make people smile and learn something, and if they get a child even one step closer to enjoying a good book, then this adventure of mine will have been more than worthwhile.
The books are about a little girl name Tilly who, surprise!, lives on a semi-arid Caribbean island and loves pastries.
I invite you to come on this particular adventure with me!
