First the sun - which has looked quite large in the sky recently... (excuse the lens flare):
The distinction between the sky, sun and surrounding mountain range was quite stunning. Again, my phone camera did not do it justice.
Taking a walk back to the car, we came across this flock of birds resting on utility wires. As you can see - it was a very large number of them. They were silent too - didn't see any of them fly away. We watched them for a good minute or two. Interesting experience... Glitch in the matrix?
