Core team of UNLOCTEAM are Ukrainians. Russia started war against Ukraine. We can't operate in normal mode, obviously, and we thank our clients for understanding.
There are five of us in Ukraine right now, scattered all over the country:
One is in the Lysychansk, Luganska oblast, Eastern Ukraine. In the shelter with family for the third day. No possible evacuation due to constant battles around. Our thoughts are with them constantly, we are trying to be in touch 24 hours per day.
One is in Zaporizhhia, South-Eastern Ukraine. In the shelter with family for the second day. Constant civil defense sirens, Russian missiles and artillery hit civil buildings.
One is in Vinnytsa, West-Central Ukraine. In the shelter, family is near Kharkiv (Eastern Ukraine), which is under heavy airstrikes, Russian troops invasion for several days already. Kharkiv currently has the biggest amount of civil buildings ruined within these days.
One is in Zhytomyr, Central Ukraine. Helps to build fortifications around important and strategic objects, protects family. Hides in shelter often, due to often civil defense sirens. The city repelled several attacks as well, but several times missiles have hit critical objects already, just few hours ago a rocket from Belarus (confirmed) hit an airport.
One was in Kyiv for several days, now is in Zhytomyr as well. In Kyiv, it's rough, more and more battles near or in it...
But we stand and fight. As one. As Ukraine. We also try to help our armies and militia with supplies, sent money to army accounts (as much as we can immediately), building fortifications, calming down our foreign friends... And spreading truth to our foreign friends because we see that, unfortunately, many mass-media change the info and perspective for the advantage of the owners of these mass-media.
Ukraine will stand. Ukraine will win. Ukraine will be.
And we initially wanted to write this post about completely another topic, and with another mood:
All developers... no, ALL DEVELOPERS we work with sent us their support in different ways, starting even with warm words — it means a lot. Many will (or did) donations to our army. And our closest friends offer help with relocation to our families. To be honest, it touches really deep. To tears. And we are really thankful. And touched. Really deep.

If you have possibility, spread the word and speak. Say that it's a war and invasion that Russia started, not a rescue operation on the East (saving Ukrainians from Ukrainians, what?). Let your government hear that people are not afraid to help Ukraine, why government is?
