One milestone that is cool to hit so quickly is that we've completed over 1 billion jobs - this means we've processed on our instance alone a billion posts, likes, boosts, bookmarks and other activitypub jobs and the rate is still going up! Pretty cool to see!
We've also been testing out a nice new interface called ELK. You can give it a whirl here: https://elk.universeodon.com/ - you can login (type universeodon.com in the server's name field) and try it out!
I really like the way it shows threading, replies, notifications and the bigger compose box.
Additionally, we've also been hard at work trying to provide some upstream patches to the official Mastodon Mobile App - we're experimenting with a media page that gives a pretty view to images/videos, an enhanced #hashtag following page and also trying to see if we can incorporate QR codes for server registration and user following (Proof of concept right now - similar to how Discord and other tools do it).
Behind the scenes, we have a DB upgrade going on early Sunday morning. We expect minimum downtime if any - We'll make a post tagged #universeodon as we get closer and if we expect any downtime beyond a few minutes. (5am CST 1/15/2023)
